It’s almost time, Onder De Radar Festival 2025! Heading to the ODR campsite? Make sure you come prepared and read through this message carefully. It’s always nice to know what you’re in for, so we’ve lined everything up for you.

The campsite is SOLD OUT! Still want to experience ODR2025? Grab the very last Saturday tickets before they’re gone!

› How to get there
The campsite is close to the festival grounds at Vliegveld Twente. Address: Vliegveldweg 345, 7524 Enschede
As soon as you see the yellow signs saying ‘Onder De Radar Festival’ and ‘Camping’, turn off your GPS and follow the signs instead.

Make sure you’ve got your camping parking ticket ready. Don’t have one yet? You can still buy it online! Heads-up: parking spots are limited and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

› Opening hours
The campsite is open from Friday, August 29th at 10:00 AM to Sunday, August 31st at 12:00 PM.

› Check-in
You can check in on Friday from 10:00 AM till 22:00 PM and on Saturday from 08:00 AM till 18:00 PM.

When your Camping + Weekend ticket is scanned at the entrance, you’ll get your wristband. Keep this on all weekend!

Heads-up! You’re only allowed to bring your own food & drinks the first time you enter the campsite.

Heads-up! All tickets are QR codes, scanned from your phone. Internet can be spotty, so it’s smart to save your ticket to your phone’s Wallet or take a screenshot.

› Bringing your own food & drinks
You can only bring your own food & drinks when you check in for the first time.

Per person, you’re allowed to bring:

• Max. 4 liters of drinks
  (Alcohol is allowed up to 15% ABV. No spirits, no pre-mixed bottles, no opened containers, and no pouring into other bottles. Glass is never allowed.

You’ll also find plenty of cold drinks at the camping shop.

› Camping Shop
Forgot something? No stress. Our camping shop on Camping 3 has over 200 different products ready for you! To give you an idea, here’s a small selection.

• Open 24 hours per day

› Mini Market
Need a quick snack or drink? Check out our mini market on Camping 2.

• Friday: 10:00 – 23:00
• Saturday: 07:00 – 15:00
• Sunday: 07:00 – 12:00

› Getting in & out
You can leave and re-enter the campsite, but only with your wristband. Security will check you every time you come back in.

› Cigarettes
No cigarettes are sold on the campsite or festival grounds. Also: no smoking inside tents or under roofed areas. This rule will be strictly enforced, break it and you risk getting kicked out.

› What’s NOT allowed to bring with you
We want the campsite to be fun and chill for everyone, so here’s a list of stuff you can’t bring:

• Shopping carts (only hand trolleys or wheelbarrows max. 60cm wide)
• Cars, bikes, scooters, trailers, etc.
• Generators, car batteries, power banks over the limit
• Beer taps (5L self-tap barrels are OK if you don’t go over the 4L total per person)
• Large sound systems
• Glass or anything sharp
• Weapons or anything that could be one
• Drugs or drug-like substances
• Open fire, fireworks, bonfires, large BBQs
• Large gas bottles (small camping gas allowed – think Campingaz 901, 0.4 kg)
• Dry ice or laughing gas
• Spray paint, confetti, party poppers, paint, etc.
• Pets
• Anything for sale (unless you’ve got permission)
• Flyers or promo stuff for other events
• Drones or professional photo/video gear
• Anything banned under Dutch law
• Anything that doesn’t belong on a festivalcampsite

The organization always has the final say over the regulations. Break the rules? You’ll be removed from the campsite and denied entry to ODR.

› Campers

• Follow the signs to ‘Onder De Radar’ and ‘Camping’ and get in line.
• You can check on Friday from 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM (No check-in possible on Saturday).
• Campers can leave on Sunday between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
• Camper spots do not have electricity or water, and there’s no dump station.

› Lodges

• Check-in at the infopoint at Campsite 3
• Lodges are located on Campsite 2, close to all facilities and right next to the festival site!
• Each lodge includes: Two single beds (with bedding, pillow & duvet), two beach chairs, one power outlet, a nightstand, wooden floor

› Power & water
There are no electricity or water points at the campground. Of course, there are plenty of possibilities to charge your phone, blow-dry your hair or take a refreshing shower. There will be additional general power supplies at the campsite.

Tip: Shower outside of peak hours to avoid queues, note that they are closed between 03:00 and 06:00 AM.

› Payments
PIN only on the entire campsite.

› Camping
You can only spend the night on the campsite. This year we’ve got multiple camping zones, in the woods and along the strip.

Camping is only possible with your own tent (or rent one!), in a lodge or in a camper (note: no caravans, campers only!).

ONDER DE RADAR-RESALE PLATFORM
Would you like to buy or sell second hand tickets safely? Use the Onder De Radar-Resale Platform. This is the only way to 100% safely sell your ticket(s). After the your ticket is sold, the purchaser will get a fully new ticket with unique barcode. Therefore, do not use other channels to sell or purchase second hand ODR-tickets.

Via the Resale Platform you can not ask for a higher price than what you paid for it, which we think is fair. As purchaser however, you pay an 8% transaction fee.

Selling tickets

• You can sell your ticket(s) for a maximum of 100% of the nominal value (ex. service fee).
• The purchaser will be charged 8% transaction fee. Originally paid service fees, will not be refunded when you sell your ticket.
• As a seller, offer your ticket by logging into your Basic Grooves-account. While ordering, you have also done this; it is done in the same way.
• Go to your order and click on ‘More actions’ and then on ‘Resale’.
• The seller will receive a confirmation as soon as their ticket was sold. The purchaser can withdraw their ticket at any time, as long as it is not sold yet or added to someones shopping basket.

In every way, 2023 felt like a pivotal year for Onder De Radar. The beauty in this is that it must have showed – as we felt more supported and encouraged by our community than ever. What followed is still difficult to comprehend. Like a positive version of Murphy’s law, everything that could go right, went right. From seemingly impossible stage designs to devastating weather forecasts, the amount of sheer luck from day one until show day is truly humbling. But it really did happen, and as said before: no one can take this from us.

Organizing a festival at a unique location? That’s nothing new for us. This time, we’re heading to Amsterdam with Red Bull and giving the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA) the full ODR treatment. Multiple venues across Leidseplein will be part of Red Bull Upside Down, and for the legendary ITA, Onder De Radar and Red Bull are joining forces.

ITA has a rich history, packed with iconic moments — think of the famous balcony where Ajax was celebrated. But behind that façade lies something even more magical. On the night of Saturday, September 27, there’s no play on stage — we’re the stars of the show during a one-of-a-kind party on the main stage. For the first time in the theater’s history, we’ll celebrate together with you and a line-up you’ve come to expect from us. This will be one for the books.

Finally, Onder De Radar again after 3 years of waiting. For us it was difficult to verbalize expectations to one another. All systems were go, and there was no single reason to worry, yet it all seemed too good to be true. That changed when the gates opened and you entered the terrain. What followed was a warm bath filled with 12 hours of unity, smiles, ecstasy, hugs and a lot of love. Like one massive reunion that escalated into a perfect day. That is what this video reflects.

Basic Grooves is one of the longest running techno organisations in The Netherlands. The infamous club nights have been a corner stone of the techno scene in the east for over two decades. In recent years, the events have gone through massive growth and artists like Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz, Charlotte de Witte, Jeff Mills, Job Jobse, KI/KI and Paula Temple found their way to Enschede to headline the events.

Founded in 1996, the club nights were intended as a response to the rising popularity of electronic music events. The club nights quickly became a breeding ground for a generation of new artists and promoters, ranging from Joris Voorn to Brent Roozendaal.

The club nights are followed by a huge rave on Kingsday (27 April) by the name of DE REACTIE. The location for this rave is the campus of Universiteit Twente.

Last but not least, Basic Grooves is behind the only techno festival this side of the country: Onder De Radar Festival. This festival takes place at an abandoned military airbase in Enschede. Last year the event was attended by no less than 15.000 fanatics!

All in all, the passion for techno is our guide. Techno events by a dedicated group of music fans.

Just outside of Enschede, in the Twente-scenery, you’ll find an abandoned airbase. A truly unique location with a rich history, at which the very best electronic music has to offer comes together, once a year. This is Onder De Radar Festival.

29 & 30 August 2025 marks our 6th descend on the magical Vliegbasis. Two days of ODR, a camping on site and afterparties in the shelters on both days make this festival nothing short of legendary. ODR Weekend

Surely we don’t need to explain why? ODR will open on Friday! One stage and one incredible headliner only. Please note: Friday tickets are not sold separately, and this day has limited capacity.

Camping

You won’t need to worry about getting home on time, a designated driver or booking accommodation, if you can literally set up camp next to the festival! With a ticket for Camping Onder De Radar you’ll roll into your tent just like that.

Afterparties

For our camping guests only: official afterparties on both days, in the F16 bunkers on our terrain, lasting until the early mornings. Those camping-tickets are a no-brainer if you ask us!

Vliegbasis Twenthe

Right in between the bunkers and shelters, it almost feels as if time stood still. And when standing next to an armed F16-shelter or underneath the still operational (!) radar tower, you can almost feel the intriguing history. Not surprisingly, as it’s only been 14 years since the Dutch Department of Defence left the site. The area has been in development ever since, and now enables the many thousands of visitors to experience Onder De Radar.

The camping shop has a large selection of food and beverages.

• Juices, dairy, fruits and vegetables;

Note: We use QR code tickets that must be scanned from your mobile phone. Keep in mind that the internet connection may not always be stable, so save your QR code ticket in your mobile wallet just in case. Also, make sure your screen brightness is set to maximum.

› ODR Resale Platform
Want to buy or sell second-hand tickets safely? Use the ODR Resale Platform. This is the only way to resell your ticket(s) 100% safely. After a ticket is sold, the buyer receives a brand new ticket with a unique barcode. To avoid disappointment, don’t buy or sell ODR tickets through other channels.

› Manage & Personalize Tickets
You can always view and manage your tickets by logging into your Basic Grooves account. On your order page, you can select a ticket and choose “Assign Tickets”. You can assign tickets to a name or change the name on a ticket up until the event.

› Name Change
Want to change the name on your ticket? You can! (Only the main buyer can do this)

1. Log in to your Basic Grooves account.
2. On your order page, go to the menu and select “More Actions” → “Name Change”.
3. Select the correct ticket (this happens automatically if you only have one ticket).
4. Fill in the required details and select the correct payment method.
5. Read the explanation at the bottom and tick to confirm.
6. Changing the name on a ticket is possible up until the event.

At the main entrance, an entry manager from our ticket provider Paylogic will be available (until 6:00 PM) to answer all your ticket-related questions. Bring your ID, confirmation email (if you have one), and payment method with you.

› Do I need to bring my Combi ticket on both days?
Yes, a Combi ticket is personal and must be scanned and name-checked at the main entrance each day.

› Address & Times
Vliegveldweg 345, Enschede, from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM. With a valid ticket, you can enter until 10:00 PM at the latest.

We expect large crowds, so arrive on time and avoid queues at the entrance, lockers, or token booths. This way, you reduce the chance of waiting in line or missing anything!

› Awareness
Not everyone reading this has been to Onder De Radar Festival before. Even if you have, it’s important that the following resonates with everyone stepping onto our grounds. So whether you’re dancing at the front, chatting with someone you just met, waiting for your drink, or exploring the festival site, please keep the following in mind and remind your friends too.

› Lockers
At the entrance, you’ll find lockers where you can store your belongings easily and safely. The size of a locker is 30 cm wide, 40 cm deep, and 24 cm high. Lockers cost €10 (excl. service fees).

These are code-operated lockers, so keep your code safe and watch out for prying eyes! You can use the locker with this code all day long. Want to guarantee a locker? Buy it here – while supplies last!

Bought a locker online? You’ll receive your locker number and code by SMS and email no later than 9:00 AM on the day of the event. Didn’t get it? Check your spam folder. There’s also a Locker Info Desk on the festival grounds where they can help you.

› Tokens
On the festival grounds, you pay with tokens. These can be purchased on-site using PIN, cash, or credit card.

Tip: Order your tokens online in advance to save time at the festival. Order here! Tokens can then be collected at the token booths.
Note: These tokens are only valid during Onder De Radar Festival 2025 and are non-refundable.

› Fresh Point
There’s a Fresh Point on the festival grounds where you can freshen up. Here you can get deodorant, caps, and sunglasses, among other things. Note: You are not allowed to bring your own deodorant (spray or roller).

› Recycling System
As you may know, we use a recycling system during ODR. When you arrive, you’ll get a recycle token. Use your tokens to buy drinks, and hand in your recycle token when you order. When you’re ready for another drink, bring back your empty cup! No empty cup or token? Then it’ll cost you an extra 0.5 token.

› Glassware
No glass on or around the festival grounds! If you’re caught, you may be asked to leave immediately.

› What NOT to bring

• Your own food/drinks (unless you have a doctor’s note)
  Glass
• Liquids (deodorant, rollers, perfume, hairspray, etc.)
• Sunscreen sprays (tubes are fine)
• Medicine (unless you have a doctor’s note)

› Age
You must be 18+. We may deny entry if you’re underage.

› ID
Don’t forget your ID (ID card, driver’s license, or passport). Copies or phone photos are not valid.
Lost it? A police report with a photo of your lost ID works too – get it at the police station or town hall.

› Cigarettes
No cigarettes sold on-site. Smoke only outdoors, not under shelters.

› In & Out
Once you leave, you can’t come back in.

› Payments
Buy your tokens with PIN or cash.

› Lost Something?
At Onder De Radar, we collect all lost items at the security desk at the main entrance. During the festival, you can pick them up there. Anything not collected on the same day will be handed over to the municipality. About 2 working days after the event, all items will be listed on the “Lost & Found” website. You can also report a lost item there – check their FAQ for more info.

› Left Something in Your Locker?
If you left something in your locker, you can contact Eventsafe via this form. They have collected all items left in the lockers.

› Important Tips

• Check our socials before coming to the festival
• Sunscreen is allowed in tubes, but not as sprays
• Lockers are available, but while supplies last
• Fans are allowed, but only if made of fabric or plastic
• We recommend ear protection. You can also buy it at the merchandise, but while supplies last
